I recently attended a walk-in interview at Wonder Worth Solutions, and the experience left me stunned.
This was my first walk-in interview since all my previous ones were remote, and I was curious about how it would go. The email invitation was professional, and everything seemed fine—until I learned about their office policies by the security guard.
Here’s what they required:
Bike keys, bags, wallets, phones, and personal laptops: All had to be left outside at security office.
Resume file: Only printed copies allowed, no digital files.
Feeling uneasy, I asked the security guard if these rules were just for interviews. To my shock, he said they apply to all employees, except management.
This felt invasive, unfair, and outright disrespectful. As someone with few years of IT experience, I’ve never seen such policies anywhere. It was a clear red flag, and I couldn’t imagine working in such an environment.
I declined the interview and shared my concerns with them. I’m posting this to help others make informed decisions. Hopefully, the company rethinks these policies.
