I applied online. I interviewed at Vivino (Copenhagen, Capital Region) in Jul 2024
Interview
It was a wonderful positive experience to meet the team and learn about the company and their QA processes. I'm truly impressed by the advanced implementations and emphasis on automation within Vivino. The major focus during the interview was on essential QA automation skills. I thoroughly enjoyed the interview process and made it to the second round. Unfortunately, I was distracted with an ongoing release at my current company during the second interview, which affected my performance. Regardless, I hope to have the chance to meet the team again in the future for any QA roles and will try to return with improved readiness.
Once again, thank you all for the wonderful experience.

Interview
Their recruiting process is one big red flag. That's really unfortunate given that I've been a user and a fan of the company for over 10 years now, and really wanted to work there.
First red flag was that the HR wrote me an SMS around 20:30 on Friday night to invite me to the interview process, as it seems I did not reply to their invitation email within 5 hours(it was sent at 15:30).
Then, I got invited to a 1h interview, where "The team hopes to get to know you and your qualifications better.", however, the questions were technical and really deep like "What is the name of the library to do X?", or "What is a name of a function to do Y?", or my favourite one "Here is data in spreadsheet, write me an SQL query in 2 minutes to do X and Y". That was never mentioned in the invite, and I was certainly not prepared to be roasted during an apparently-not-technical Interview for 1 hour.
The last red flag that made me drop the hiring process completely was that in the interview invite it was mentioned "You will also have the opportunity to ask any questions about the position.", while I had zero chance to ask questions. The person interviewing me was absolutely unaware of how to do an interview, and kept bombarding me with technical questions, and I certainly do not wish him to be my lead, or any other person's lead.
