Had an interview with the director, he was nice, asked me about my resume, and we had a really good conversation about the position and how my experience related. My experience seemed to match exactly what they were looking for and he was excited for me to join the team. We dove into technical questions where he went down a list of terminologies and asked for me to define them for him. I don't think this was a great way to test how I would do on the job, as he described me as a "unicorn", but I didn't know what "hoisting" was. It was a very strange interview process, more of a way for the director to flex his knowledge onto me, not really sure I'd want to work here.
