I applied online. I interviewed at Visa Inc. (Austin, TX) in Mar 2014
Interview
It was pretty streamlined. Te recruiters however takes some time to respond. Its improving though. They use hacker rank and the interview process is very old school. The whole interview happened with 5 people and panned the entire day.

Question 1
Motivations behind a certain project in the resume. The approach for the problem
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Visa Inc. (London, England)
Interview
3 stages for fixed-term:
-Recruiter Screen (think they do this outsourced)
-Hiring Manager (1 hour): this was relatively easy and focused more on experience and answering certain behavioral or situational questions.
-Team Interview (1 hour): I got an offer with a competing company before this so I declined, but the hiring manager mentioned this would be similar to the HM interview. Also, an opportunity for me to ask questions.

Question 1
-Starts with general experience & background
-Targeted behavioral/situational questions around your analytical experience, particularly around communicating with stakeholders/diagnosing problems. Be prepared as well with examples (use the STAR method) of analytical work you've done in the past, and how this helped solve a business problem.
-Questions for Visa (ensure you prepare questions about the role and the company, team structure, etc.)
I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Visa Inc. in Jan 2021
Interview
Went thru 2 rounds of interview. The hiring manager dint seem to have a lot of details about the role . Nor did he seem excited to talk. No follow up from recruiter.
6 weeks later, another interview set up.
This time with a business partner. She asked about my involvement with reporting, I said we automated and now work only on enhancements/housekeeping. Her response: ‘Sounds like you were not involved then’ 🤷🏻♀️
Again no follow up.
If they did, this is not a team/company I would want to work for
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Mostly around what I did in my previous job. But they dint know what needed to be done .
Dint sound like they were paying attention to my answers.
Applied and recruiting team got in touch saying they would like to set up a call. I provided times and telephone number and heard nothing back. Chased many times and got an occasional half-baked email asking for availability. Job is now no longer available which is a real disappointment. I get the impression that the recruiting teams lack any real organisation and I’m applying from a Big Four firm.
