Applied online, then did an initial phone screen (which was also technical, which they failed to mention). Received an email to schedule a 1 on one interview for the next week. Despite my background being in robotics and controls, the technical question touched on absolutely none of these things and was purely a generic "coding" interview, which isn't my background at all. If they wanted a pure software engineer, they should have been up front about it.
