Vertical Communications Developer interview questions

First of all, they dint call me at scheduled time. After I sent a mail, they called after half an hour and took interview for 20 mins. Everything went well till then. But then he realised I can work as a contractor and he don't know the process for that and whether he can hire me or not. There is no response after that.
