I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at VertiSource HR (Midvale, UT) in Aug 2025
Interview
I interviewed for the position and the interviewer said he wanted to schedule a second interview for Monday with the CEO, so watch for the email. All weekend—nothing. Monday morning I emailed saying it was great meeting them last week, I was looking forward to meeting with them again today but hadn’t seen the invite yet. No answer on Monday. On Tuesday I emailed again. On Wednesday I got a response they wanted to do the second interview Thursday morning, but I currently have a job and was conducting training all morning so I said unfortunately I wasn’t available until the afternoon. They scheduled the interview for the afternoon and when I joined the video conference, I was immediately told that they made an offer to someone else that morning and they accepted, so the interview was cancelled. I thought that was pretty unprofessional to string me along like that
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked about workers compensation, said that was a big part of the job.
I applied online and had a phone call with 2 ladies. They were just starting their search and said it would be about a week before I heard back. Well, it's been over 2 months and still nothing. Way to ghost your candidates!
It was very long and misleading to the point I had to confirm the information that was being provided to me. Also, at some points in the interview I got the feeling that they were being not genuine with the reason the other person had vacated the role.

What would you do if you were asked to terminate an employee on the spot?
