Interview
This was for a contract position. I had a phone interview with the staffing recruiter, followed by a phone interview with the hiring manager and finally a panel interview with three of the Clinical Trial Managers and the Division Head. Unfortunately all three Clinical Trial Managers asked the same questions - Walk me through your resume, what made you apply for this position and then they each talked about the department, the position and the group.

What concerns do you have that would prevent you from taking the position?
I had a thirty minute call with a recruiter about my experiences and my career goals. The next steps would have been meeting with the team as well. The recruiter was very nice and direct.

The interview was straight forward and simple with Hr, team members and hiring manager. The process took over a month before I heard back from the HR. Overall a good experience of interviewing with vertex.

Interview
Smooth and unpretentious. Took only 1.5 months between my online application and getting the offer. The interviewing scientists were mainly interested in learning how well I understood the projects and techniques on my CV, not in how familiar I was with the scientific field that the position would deal with.
