Interviewer joined the meeting 5 minutes late.
After what I would assume to be an Okay 1st interview, Interviewer proceeds to tell me that because I am not in the same province as the company, I won’t be able to get the position. That is fine and understandable but I applied to a REMOTE position.
Didn’t feel like a proper use of my time.
First Interview is more of an introduction, going over the CV, asking about your experiences, or even your transcript. Be ready to be asked about the company and the role
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Veeva Systems (Toronto, ON)
Interview
First round: Basic questions with Hiring manager (Why Veeva, why this role?)
Second round: Online assessment about the date control field and the testing techniques used for test data
Third round: Discussion of the OA (What additional test cases are possible, API testing), along with some simple SQL queries.
Fourth Round (2 rounds simultaneously in-person): 1st round technical with basic Java LeetCode easy, along with testing-based scenario questions, including api testing. 2nd round - Resume go over with the Hiring manager.
Fifth Round: With the director questions like Why Veeva?
First there is a 30 minutes screening. After they make the selection, they will send a take at home quality test. Then if you pass that, they’ll call for like a 2 hour long interview. First part is talking to know the company, then it will be technical interview and then it will be talking to know about the position.
