      Customer Care Specialist Interview

      Dec 19, 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Bloomington, IN
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Vector Solutions (Bloomington, IN) in Oct 2024

      Interview

A recruiter reached out to me via LinkedIn; we set-up an initial screening call. After that, I completed an assessment. Once I had passed that, they scheduled me for an interview with the hiring manager. I was not impressed with the amount of time that lapsed in between communication with the recruiter. Because they wanted all communication to go through her, it seemed to create unnecessary delays as she then had to coordinate with the hiring manager. They asked me on a Thursday if I was able to meet during a 3 hour time period the following Friday for an interview, and I responded within the day giving a time that I could meet in that 3 hour time frame. The recruiter didn't get back to me until the following Wednesday telling me that the time slot and was already taken and asked if could meet in the other 2 hours, which I couldn't because of my current work schedule. We finally arranged something for the following week, but then, even though they did warn me that the hiring manager would be on vacation for a week, it took another two weeks before they notified me that they had finally finished initial interviews. They then proceeded to share that they no longer had financial approval for the position but asked if I wanted to be considered if they had any other open positions down the line.
