I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Varsity Tutors (Saint Louis, MO) in May 2017
Interview
Phone interview (15 min), Skype interview (30 min), then an in-person interview (1 hour). Recruiters were friendly and helpful and very easy to work with. They also had a networking session at their HQ a couple of days before my interview. I went and got to see the offices and meet some current employees. Quite helpful.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Most of the questions were so straightforward that I don't even remember specifically what I was asked. But there was a role-play in which I played a sales associate and one of the recruiters/interviewers played a potential customer to whom I was to sell a tutoring package.
The process was straightforward and efficient, requiring minimal time. Communication was frequent via email, ensuring convenience. Their responsiveness made the experience smooth and hassle-free. Overall, it was a positive and efficient interaction.
The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Varsity Tutors (Houston, TX) in Jan 2023
Interview
It was okay. There is plenty of opportunity to practice before your final recording. I believe there were 2 or 3 trials per video recording. There were two personal questions regarding interest of the said position.
first i had to record myself answering pre recorded questions. after that, it took three days, i was invited to a phone interview. overall great process and would recommend to anyone
