Vanilla Star Jeans interview questions

Applied via job site, they reached out to me about comng into they office for an interview within the next 2 days. I replied politley and professionaly thanking them for reaching out and stated that I could not attend an in-person interview as I was still working at my current job and could not take time off such short notice, and suggested a virtual or phone interview instead. They responded quite rudely, saying it was an in-person interview only and then denied my application. I thought it was quite unprofessional and a red flag to require an in-person interview before any phone or virtual interview, especially for a job in which their posted salary was quite underwhelming.
