I applied in-person. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Universal Instruments (Conklin, NY) in Aug 2017
Interview
First attended a job fair and submitted my resume and explained a little bit about myself.
Called for interview 2 weeks later on-site, 120 mins duration 30 mins each with 3 different people. Mostly behavioral questions and talked about their company and asked one programming question about Strings - Reverse the letters within a string without changing words. Took 2 months to give their decision. They don't hire international students. Huge waste of time!

Interview
Straight forward interview process, asking what you look forward to in the future, some basic questions to challenge your thought process, and some basic code challenges. Otherwise, everything was about as expected from an interview in an entry level software position
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
A basic programming question regarding the use of loops, and modulo.
I applied through university. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Universal Instruments (Conklin, NY) in Feb 2018
Interview
The interview process took 4 hours to complete. The four hours were split up into 45 minute sessions, with four different guys. Two of the guys were asking behavioral type questions, while the other two guys, were asking technical questions. The technical questions were not too bad, as along as you understood the basic concepts in your introductory programming and analog circuits classes. Otherwise, studying before heading out to the interview, will help out. As an example, the hiring manager told me that 4 of the previous people he had interviewed, could not answer the basic BJT question he asked.

Interview
After a career fair, I was contacted by HR. Very detail questions about your resume. The hiring managers were nice. Much long time from interview to notification. It almost took 1 month, I do not receive their decision. So may be the rejection is on the way.
