What a wonderful experience! The process was very thorough (8-10 meetings), but I really like the fact that Unity does what it takes to ensure they hire the proper individuals, with both the skills and company culture fit.
Each interview had a clear purpose and each person I got the chance to meet was professional, well prepared and respectful. I had access to the agenda of each interview and linkedIn profiles of the panelists as well. They dedicate some time at the end of each meetings to answer any questions I might have.
I was given links to the company website so I could familiarize myself with the values, and a blog post about the recruitment and interview process.
The overall steps for me were to go through HR screenings, interview with the department lead, then technical interviews & technical panels. Then, finally another round of meeting with the department lead and HR to go through the offer details.
The staff was awesome, I got the chance to ask a lot of questions about the role, the company, the package, and never felt pressed by the time. Everyone took their time, sometimes going 15min+ over the planned interview time just to answer my questions.
Each email communication was clear and on point, every question not answered during a meeting was subsequently answered through follow-up emails.
Going through a recruitment process is always stressful, but I have to admit everyone made me feel comfortable and appreciated.
