TLDR: the recruiter ghosted me TWICE before the onsite interview.
I submitted my resume and was connected to the recruiter. We spoke at length, with the recruiter explaining the role in details and the company's popularity. I was told that he will check back with the team for an onsite interview.
I got a called back a few days later to schedule an onsite interview, but I was not available on the day of their choosing, so the recruiter said he will call back.
I never heard from the recruiter again for weeks, even after I tried to reach out to him. I then received a call where the recruiter said the role has changed and he was wondering if I am still interested. I gave him a benefit of doubt and replied back that I would like to know more about this "new" role.
A couple of weeks passed by and again, I never heard back from him.
It is utterly rude and unprofessional for a company to ghost a candidate like this twice, especially for a security role.
