One of the most horrendous and inconsistent hiring process I've experienced. First, started with a submission online which then resulted in an HR rep phone conversation about salary and general expectations. Next, asked to complete a recorded video interview to answer a few questions related to the position. From that, I was asked to come to the office for an interview with the hiring manager. Keep in mind, they do not reimburse for travel and I drove 3.5 hours to get to the interview knowing I was moving to the location in the next month.
From there, I received follow up that the hiring manager wanted me to come back again for final interviews with the manager, the VP, and meet the rest of the team. The interview was pretty conversational, not really too much in depth about experience or what they were looking for. I was told I would hear back in 1-2 weeks on their decision. A month and a 1/2 passed with no communication. The recruiter would not respond to my inquiries asking for an update, they would not pass along emails so I could check in directly and make it personal, and they were completely unresponsive.
Finally, after finding a teammate on LinkedIn and shooting him/her a message, I received the generic response via email that they no longer had the position available. Total time from first conversation to their decision was 3 months. This was a complete waste of my time, there was no consideration for my candidacy, and there was no communication from any members of the hiring team or recruitment/HR department. Very unpleasant experience and would not recommend this company to anyone. Maybe coming from the #1 company in the world my expectations are high, but this was by far the worst experience I've encountered.
