I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at United Nations (London, England) in Apr 2019
Interview
I applied to the DDR Section in the Department of Peace Operations. I was contacted within a month or two and scheduled a call. There was only one interview and it was really informal (jokes being made for instance). It lasted about 30 minutes max, including the introductions, follow up questions etc. The actual interview questions lasted 10 minutes.
