United Microelectronics Spice Modeling Engineer interview questions

There were a total of three interview sessions. The first interview was conducted by a supervisor. It mainly focused on the characteristics of semiconductor devices, including the operation and electrical characteristics of BJT, MOSFET, and PN diode. During the explanation, I was required to draw energy band diagram. Additionally, I was asked about short-channel effects. The second interview was conducted by an HR representative, who asked some common questions that can easily be found online. The third interview was conducted by a department manager. The questions were similar to those in the first interview but were explored in greater depth.
