A few video interview with sales management. Petty typical and casual conversation. Both people seemed unsure if the position was actually going to be filled. Was assured I would hear back positively or negativity but did not.

Question 1
Why are you looking for a new position? What kind of wholesale experience do you have?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at United By Blue (Philadelphia, PA) in Apr 2019
Interview
I applied in early 2019 and I have to say, I was taken back by my negative experience with this company. It's funny to me that the position I applied for, stressed on thorough communication as one of the essential functions of the position. Throughout the interview process communication on their end was virtually non existant. They showed interest in me after my 1st phone interview and asked for times I could skype for a 2nd interview. When I was asked, I would send emails, set up dates for a 2nd interview, and a week or 2 would go by with no response. This made it extremely hard to coordinate times and make adjustments to my schedule. I was asked to reschedule my interview on 2 occasions and finally they emailed their decision to continue with another candidate.
In all honesty, with lack of communication like that, I feel like I dodged a bullet. If they can't professionally communicate at an HR and managment level, I cant imagine how change can be implemented in this company. I believe the way you treat applicants is a direct correlation of how employees at a corporate/retail level are valued.
As a long time supporter of this company, I dont imagine I will continue to be after my experience. Their mission is strong, but they appear young and very unorganized. There are many other upstanding companies that stand behind strong environmental missions and exercise professionalism.

Question 1
What professional experiences do you have that you believe will translate to this position?
I applied online. The process took 7 months. I interviewed at United By Blue in Dec 2017
Interview
I applied online and heard back about a month later and set up a phone interview. The interview was about 30 minutes where they read off a series of questions relative to the role and company. I followed up the next week because they did not give me any indication over the phone as to what the next steps were in the process. I received a generic response that they would "reach out within the coming weeks if we find that you are a fit." Several weeks went by and I heard nothing. I reached out again and received no response. I think if someone is taking the time to apply to a position and have interviewed for that position, it is respectable for a company to reach out even to decline the applicant. To leave that person in the dark is unprofessional and discouraging.
