      UI Developer Interview

      Feb 11, 2016
      Anonymous employee
      Vancouver, BC
      Accepted offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Unbounce (Vancouver, BC) in Oct 2015

      Interview

To apply you must build a landing page, which I actually really liked. It was a chance to dive into their product. Had a casual interview over coffee, which resulted in a formal interview with the team I would become a part of, and finally a phone follow-up for references and salary negotiation. It was friendly and casual. I was asked to walk through my portfolio, thinking processes, challenges, etc. My only critique is that I felt strung along for a while. The interview process lasted around 4 months. I later found out it was because of timing with budgets.
