I applied through university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Umbraco (Odense) in May 2023
Interview
You'll meet the HR manager and your upcoming leader on the first online call; it's very informal and friendly. They'll ask more about who you are and less about your competences, which I found really great. Before the interview, I had a couple of tasks related to my role, and they gave me good and honest feedback.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Umbraco (Odense) in Dec 2023
Interview
The process was overall very professional and friendly. It was genuinely a nice experience.
The interview process was divided into 3 separate stages. The initial one was a call with the hiring manager. Then an in-person interview with the hiring manager and recruiter after which I was given a case to work on (the amount of effort I put in was purely my choice). And the last interview was the case presentation with both the recruiter and hiring manager as well as the COO, who joined in the second half of the interview.
The hiring "committee" was very considerate and open and allowed me to reschedule the second interview very last minute, since I was feeling rather unwell.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I was given a case to work on that consisted of a simple brief with multiple parts/deliverables.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Umbraco (Copenhagen, Capital Region) in Jun 2023
Interview
Online coffee with two very friendly members of staff, one from software and one from HR to keep it balanced. The conversation was mostly casual, we talked about the company culture, the software itself and the way they operate across the globe.
