I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at US Citizenship and Immigration Services in Jan 2024
Interview
I applied for the AO position back in November 2023 and received a referral for a telephone interview in January 2024. I have never done a telephone only interview and it was very awkward. Everyone was very polite; however, if you're a person who likes to get a feel for how things are going through body language and facial expressions this interview is going to be harder. The questions were pretty straight forward. They used the STAR interview method and then gave me a chance to ask questions. Overall, it was a good experience, even if I don't feel like I did a great job.
