I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at US Army (Spokane, WA) in Aug 2012
Interview
Physical and blood tests. Hearing, vision, bones, muscles, skin, medical history, finger prints, everything. You're joining the Army and they want a capable soldier to join, not somebody who will need surgery on the Army's dime in a month. Any prior major medical issues will probably disqualify you.
The interview process was straightforward but memorable—equal parts formal questioning and making sure I understood the commitment I was signing up for. It involved discussing qualifications, expectations, and ensuring I was mentally and physically prepared. Looking back, it was less about “passing an interview” and more about confirming I was ready to serve.

Question 1
"Tell us about a time when you had to serve under leadership that you didn't see eye to eye with"
Real cool, real fun, sleep at a hotel the night before. Free continental breakfast in the morning. Free bus ride too. Duck walk not cool. Sign paper, say bye to family.
