      Anonymous employee
      Baltimore, MD
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at US Army (Baltimore, MD) in Aug 2011

      Interview

I applied or rather recruited once I left high school. There were really no questions except the ones that I had to answer with my recruiter. It was 1994 so I am sure that the process is completely different than what they would be today.

Interviewed by a panel from the battalion section S3 and command staff. Had more to do with being a "good fit" than specific skills. I was able to attend all the prerequisite training after I started the job.

      Interview

The hiring and interview process is pretty simple. The process begins by speaking with a Recruiter, passing the ASVAB, In-Depth Physical, and background check. It's important to do well in all areas to increase the opportunities to get the job that you want.

      Question 1

Determining what's acceptable to tell or not tell the guidance counselor at MEPS; not everything is as important as it's made out to be.
