I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at US Army in Sep 2009
Interview
A packet of personal information had to be put together and sumitted to a review panel. Once they recieved the application packet and reviewed the information contained it then went to a review board to verify my qualifications and acceptance status. This job has been an excellent experience in many respects and very beneficial. The only draw back is that the field can be very political and you do have to watch your back.

Question 1
Why do you want to be a Career Counselor in the Army?
When in the IRR you have to talk to an Army Reserve Career Counselor to transfer to the Army Reserve. You can select your unit/location and even MOS. RECLASS is based on your ASVAB scores, they are willing to give you pretty much any MOS as long as you qualify.
