      Accounting Interview

      Nov 12, 2018
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

The process took 3 months. I interviewed at UKG in Nov 2018

      Interview

Got an email from hr days after applying online. After the initial screen with HR I had a phone interview with hiring manager. I honestly thought it did not go well as she was some what rude and had negative things to say already. I usually interview well but left this conversation disappointed. To my surprise I received a request to interview onsite so I figured maybe I had been too sensitive. Hiring manager had the same attitude in person as she did during the phone call and I was practically scratching my head as to why she wanted to meet me in person. Seemed to be very stuck up about ultimate software yet she didnt seem to have experience in any other work environment besides there. She mentioned I arrived late but I arrived on time and there was a line in the reception area and I travelled about 40 miles to get there. Also mentioned that the person she brings on will not be allowed to work remote because the remote people are driving her crazy even though it seems most of the team works remotley as the rest of my interviews were with people who were at home. I thought to myself today that even though this is ultimate software and it seems like a great south florida company I will probably decline the third interview since I just felt rubbed the wrong way over the phone and in person by the hiring manager. Seems like a great place to work but you probably also need to be on the right team.
