I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at U.S. Bank (Saint Louis, MO) in Jun 2012
Interview
I enjoyed the interview at U.S. Bank. I found the gentleman conducting the interview to be personable and comfortable to talk with. He explained why the positions were open, what the new department would do and his direction for the future. I thought it would be a good company to work for with very diverse options for future growth opportunities.

I applied online. I interviewed at U.S. Bank in Jul 2025
Interview
HR recruits and asks behavioral questions in the 2nd step. Questions such as, "Describe a time when you as a mentor or leader didn't work out." If it goes well, HR recruiter will send emails (seems to be through a system rather than a personal email) but HR does leave you their direct email address if you have questions.

2 phone interviews with managers. Also an Initial interview with HR. The questions that are asked are all based on Tell me a time when... After that you will get a call from HR with a back ground check it is fairly easy once in and they have amazing benefits.

Question 1
Tell me a time where you got feedback that you didn't like and how did you apply it to the next time.
it was weird, but no technical questions asked at all when they are hiring someone in manager's position. I do not see the purpose of the interview or not know what they are trying to capture through those ordinary questions.
