I interviewed at Tuscany Strategy Consulting (Baltimore, MD)
Interview
There are two major interview steps for the analyst position. The first round is half behavioral and half technical.
The second round includes behavioral questions, a presentation, and a case.
Round 1: Combination of behavioral and case-based questions.
Round 2: Completely case-based questions.
Round 3: Panel interview with senior leadership. Fully case-based. One-interviewee-led case question. One case question I was able to prepare for in advance.
I applied through university. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Tuscany Strategy Consulting (Baltimore, MD)
Interview
Round 1: Zoom call, multiple “case” questions & behavioral interview, (I say “case” questions because they are not full case interviews, but small questions that you may see as part of case interviews). The questions are fairly basic.
Round 2: 30-45 minute situational & behavioral interview, candidate led case study, and a powerpoint presentation based on a prompt they send you a few days before. In person at their office in Baltimore, unless requested otherwise for specific reasons.
The interview process is challenging but offers a very constructive learning experience. Although I was rejected after the final round, I learned a lot due to their feedback. You can tell that their team is emotionally invested in their employees and interviewees. They were respectful and timely throughout the entire process. Be prepared to do more than exceptionally well because they are extremely selective.
