First round was technical, focused on DSA and sorting questions. Second round involved a framework discussion with two panelists — cleared that as well. Third round was an online assessment, which I also cleared. Now, the fourth round was quite interesting — the interviewer’s previous company was the same as mine, and there had been some conflicts between our teams in the past, so we didn’t have a good rapport. The questions were mostly advanced-level system design problems, like designing Uber and related handling scenarios, and the expected answers were at a very advanced level. I wasn’t quite sure if those questions were meant for a Developer role or a QA position. The interview panel conducted by Senior Development Manager, and frankly, it seemed they have little to no understanding of what defines good quality — they view everything purely from a development lens, completely missing the essence of Quality Engineering.
