I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at TriMas in Sep 2023
Interview
The process took about 4 weeks. The recruiter was super friendly and responsive. Interviewed with two different people who asked the exact same questions. The interviews could have been done at the same time. The first person was super nice and the interview went great. The second person was basically trying to talk me out of the job and told me how "it's a bunch of older people" and did not seem excited in the slightest. Totally rubbed me the wrong way.
Recruiter called to setup interview for the following week.
Interview was over zoom. Initially scheduled with 3 different people, but after speaking with the first 2 the third had an appointment. Spoke to the first two people individually, but they asked the same questions. This interview could’ve been conducted simultaneously.
Didn’t hear anything after a week, sent the recruiter an email asking for an update , never got a response. It’s very disrespectful to not respond a candidate after an interview, especially one that is 2hrs long. Candidates prepare and make themselves available for your company, the least the company can do is respond letting them know they weren’t chosen.
Based off of the companies reviews and how my recruiting process went I think this company is very unorganized.
