I had similar experience a month ago where I was interviewed for 2 rounds and was invited to Bangalore for the third round. Unfortunately, I was already on a interview trip from lko to Hyd sponsored by the respective company and was supposed to return the same day, thus HR said that they will see if company can sponsor my travel, and she never reverted. I had followed up multiple times and got unique responses each time. First they were so clear to ask me travel down to BLR for last round and then after some time started saying the feedback is not positive by that interviewer and would prefer to interview again in-person which I agreed. Not only this I offered to come on my own and re appear to clear his doubts but then received a final feedback (that too when I poked multiple times to HR and team members) saying you are more tech oriented and we are looking functional - that too HR didn’t come back, got to know from an internal emp. Upon which I mentioed that only 2.5 years out of 6.5 was tech and remaining is pure functional PM roles. This whole thing kept on running for over a month, had prepared to lengths about Tredence Inc. and got nothing.
