The job was not really explained properly. They did not even really know what they wanted when I interviewed for the job. I was interviewed and then told they were taking the job off the list and I was then hired four weeks later

Question 1
The job was explained a Sales position and it ended up being a development position. It should have always been under the aegis of the Engineering Department but it was sold as a Sales position. The hiring manager was outstanding - The manager that I ended up working with (VP of Software Engineering) was abysmal.
