Very easy interview process, up front about what they were looking for. Took maybe 20 minutes at most. I love that you can wear relatively normal clothes to the interview. They want to see how you can style the types of clothes they sell (but dont have to only wear their clothes).
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Torrid (Rossford, OH) in Mar 2019
Interview
I put in my application (online) on a Thursday and called them on a Wednesday to check my application. Asked to speak to the manager and was asked about my availability. We then set up a time for my interview which we picked the following Tuesday. The interview was easy and mainly focused on my availability and work history. I'm a fashion graduate which helped a little when it comes to knowing or having some interest in fashion. I wore black pants, black cardigan, polka-dot shirt, and moto jacket (all from Torrid). I was basically offered the job on the spot and is set up to come back and fill out paperwork next Monday.
I also asked some questions:
Is there room for growth in this company?
How many hours a week?
Daily duties for my position?
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Torrid (Levittown, PA)
Interview
I applied online on a Tuesday and it required a survey asking several questions that I had to answer if I Strongly Agree, Agree, Slightly Agree, Neutral, Slightly Disagree, Disagree, or Strongly Disagree. Once I did that I got a call two days later to set up an interview. Most of the questions were like "you prefer to work in a team setting." or "you think change is important in the workplace" but they would ask them two or three times phrased differently every time.
I was called on Thursday to set up and Interview on Friday. At the interview itself I met with the Manager and she printed out some questions that were specifically for me based on what I answered in the survey so she said they were different for everyone.
Afterwards we went back into the store and I had to "Audition" and pretend the manager was a customer and sell her clothes. I didn't think I did good with the audition because the manager said i could have tried to sell her more items.
She said that she had a couple of more people to interview that day and so she would be calling people on Monday if they were Hired. Monday I got a call and I start training Sunday.
