Interview was in front of a panel, all of whom currently work in the IT department. The IT Director (who is also the hiring manager) led the interview process. The whole process was very professional, asking only relevant questions about work experience and technical knowledge. They were also very communicative and called me back with the results of their hiring process within a couple of days of the interview.
The county's website application process, while not the most difficult to fill out, is antiquated and quirky.
