I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Tinder (West Hollywood, CA) in May 2019
Interview
1. Recruiter Call
Goes really well, super friendly team, and they do a great job of explaining the company and your role.
2. Engineering Interview + Live Code Test
Phone call with an engineer on the team while live coding in a shared workspace (CoderPad). You're expected to write code without Google. Prepare yourself for the most impractical interview questions you see on the "Top XX Coding Interview Questions". As well as condescending developers interviewing you who won't help much or clearly describe what they need.
3. In-office interview
West Hollywood office with team.
Interview questions [3]
Question 1
Write a debounce function from scratch -- but we'll ask in a convoluted and confusing way.
