Had a really bad interview experience. I applied for the role and was contacted from a member of HR to schedule a 30 minutes phone interview. It went well and she wanted me to proceed to the next step. Had a 30 minutes Q&A second stage interview with a member of the team that went well and I was told that the third and last stage was similar to the second interview. Waited for days to schedule the third round when I got an email from the recruiter saying that the hiring manager wanted to implement a presentation for the last stage. I said OK and waited for days to receive the client brief. When I finally got it, I started to prepare it and I spent I whole weekend researching in and out the product and the platform. I thought I was ready when the day BEFORE the interview I received an email from HR saying that the hiring manager wanted also an analytical exercise to be done and presented together with the presentation. I started to be a bit frustrated as I am also working at the same time and I did not have much time to prepare it. I however spent few hours after job to write down something and present it the day after. During the interview the hiring manager excused for the last minute notice regarding the exercise and said that was HR's fault. I started the presentation and when I was talking had the feeling from the HM's expressions that I was saying nonsense things.
At the end of the interview I asked when I would have had the feedback and I was not given a concrete answer.
It passed more than a week to receive and email from HR saying when I was free to have call regarding the feedback for the interview. Recruiter told me that she was free all day the day after tomorrow so I said if it was OK to have a call for X day at 9. She emailed me back the day after saying that 9 was not possible (wasn't' she free all day?) and asked me if I was available in the afternoon. I said Yes. No call, no answer. Days passed and I finally decided to write an email. She replied me back apologizing and saying that she did not see it(???) and asked me if I was available the day after to have a call. I said yes and she finally called me. During the call she told me that presented very well and that I know the product very well but HM decided not to move forward with my application as she had the feeling that I was a bit nervous when being interviewed and that other candidates gave a bit more insights.
To my experience I believe that HR improvements in terms of communication need to be done especially in regards to the candidates who have invested time and effort in preparing.

Question 1
During the presentation, the Hiring Manager acted as the client and the question was:
- Who are our competitors on TikTok?
Hr called me, asked me a few questions, intro, why you leave your current company, are you actively looking for new opportunities etc. The interview progress is smooth, and pass me to hiring manager round very smoothly.
5 stages, very long process but they do it quickly if they want you. good compensation, very good benifits. the interviews are also not horrid, they ask reasonable questions. oh my god why does it need to be so long
The interview process for the Account Manager role at TikTok was straightforward and professional. It began with an initial recruiter screen, followed by a more technical round focused on account management. The team provided clear insights into their structure and expectations, making the entire experience feel organized and transparent from start to finish.
