It was a phone interview. The interview did not start well. There was some phone headphone issue from their side. The interview only went downhill from there. The interviewer could not ask any well-formed questions. It was a very lazy interview. I almost felt like I am helping the interviewer form questions he can ask me. It ended with him telling me the team will get back to me but no one did.

Question 1
Tell me about your self
Why do you want to work in this company
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Thunder Industries (Bellevue, WA) in Aug 2018
Interview
I applied online and it took about a month to hear back. I was given a basic design test to complete, then had a basic phone interview with two employees. I was assigned a second design test which ended up being rather complex as I had to use their program, which had several technical hiccups. Buttons that were supposed to be there were not and made completing the task impossible without emailing for help several times. I spent hours trying to figure it out on my own and consulting their support center because they made it clear that they would rather me complete the test as independently as possible. I then had one more phone interview and scheduled an in-person. The in-person involved two employees at their office, but also two employees watching in via a video call. This was not mentioned to me beforehand and threw me off a bit. I was told they would get back to me in a few days and received a rejection email six days later.
The wording in some of the communications from them throughout this process was rather open to interpretation and led to some situations that I wasn't able to be adequately prepared for as consequence.

Question 1
How do you feel about using our platform instead of the Adobe Suite?
I applied online. I interviewed at Thunder Industries (San Francisco, CA) in Mar 2017
Interview
1. A 1/2 hour conversation with the recruiter; 2. An audio "pitch" to a CMO; 3. Required development of a presentation on ad view ability; 4. A 2-hour Google hangout interview with CEO & VPs of ops and acct. service. Follow-ups to the recruiter and to each of the interviewers went unanswered -- absolute radio silence. Hope they treat their clients with more respect than they treat their candidates.
