      Senior Accountant Interview

      Jun 9, 2021
      Anonymous interview candidate
      New York, NY
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Threadless (New York, NY)

      Interview

Generic intake phone interview. Surface level pleasant enough yet seemed like I didn't have interviewer's full attention. I don't feel that I learned much about the role. Was asked salary requirements and I believe that was likely the deal breaker (from my end, as well). Should be up front about salaries so no one's time/energy is wasted. Vague sense that I was age discriminated against but that's subtle and def hard to read over the phone/via email and I could totally be overanalyzing the conversation.
