Unfortunately, the process was quite challenging from the start.
Initially, I did not receive a phone call for the candidate screening as expected. Instead, I was sent an email at 10 PM on a Friday, asking for information that was already included in my CV and cover letter. This gave the impression that my application had not been thoroughly reviewed. When I responded, I received a call inviting me for an in-person interview, but the recruiter had limited information and was unable to answer any of my questions beyond confirming the date and time of the interview.
On the day of the interview, the interviewer arrived approximately 10 minutes late without any acknowledgment or apology. It took additional time to set up the online meeting for the other two interviewers, resulting in further delays. The interview itself felt disorganized and rushed. For the duration of the interview, all three interviewers asked questions back-to-back, often interrupting each other and not allowing me enough time to respond fully. This environment made it difficult for me to focus and present my qualifications clearly. Additionally, the interview format lacked any practical tasks. When I offered to demonstrate my abilities using a laptop, this suggestion was declined, and I was asked to describe complex, practical tasks verbally, which I found to be an ineffective approach.
Despite the delay at the start of the interview, the session ended abruptly, and I was not given an opportunity to ask questions or complete my closing statement. Since the interview, I have not received any follow-up or feedback, even after sending two follow-up emails. It has now been almost two months without any communication, which I find disappointing.
Lastly, I noticed that the salary range offered during the process was significantly below the industry standard.
