I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Thermo Fisher Scientific (Bengaluru) in Sep 2015
Interview
The interview was of three rounds on campus. Around 200-250 students attended. The first round was muliple choice round. Around 30 students cleared. Questions were based on software engineering, data structures, algorithms, OS e.t.c. One of the best technical aptitude round I have seen.
After the first round, the second was a technical interview, All the questions were related to algorithms - arrays/ matices, trees and software engg fundamentals. There were a few puzzles like bridge crossing with a torch e.t.c
The second round was a HR/ Technical. Most questions were based on the project and few usual HR questions like, how do you see yourself in 5 years e.t.c.
Offer was made on spot, gave a goodie too. :)

Question 1
How do you implement a railway signal system with binary semaphore concept?
Went for the interview through campus placement. Interview was offline and conducted at their office. The first round consisted of questions on coding, dbms and projects mentioned in resume. Interviewers were helpful.
Interview was straightforward and pleasant as far as software interviews go. Group interview with the team who then reviews and comes to a collective decision on whether to hire you.
1 Behavioral with the recruiter
1 Behavioral with the manager
1 Panel - Fairly straightforward, vocabulary of languages, what would you do in this scenario, systems design questions, nothing really too difficult
