Was contacted for an initial phone screen 18 days after my initial application, initially via phone. I replied back to the VM the HR representative left and scheduled an initial conversation with her. HR rep failed to call at the scheduled time, I waited 15 minutes and tried calling in, attempted to leave a voicemail, but the representative's VM inbox was full. Left an email then for her, which she replied to 20 minutes later. Representative then wanted to schedule another call for the same day and could not commit to a specific time, but called me 6 PM that night.
Phone screen was highly unprofessional; HR rep wanted to know specifically WHY I was available, whether I had property, a S.O., children, WHY specifically I was available for relocation to a distance that would be commutable from where I am currently living.
I tried to get the discussion back on track but HR rep continually kept asking really unprofessional questions and the interview ended on a negative note.
Would not recommend working here if even the HR staff are going to belittle potential employees and make it clear people with families, kids and commitments outside of work are not welcome. Interview touched only very briefly on my technical skill, management experience and process knowledge. I have not received a follow up email, call, or any other contact from the rep following this conversation nearly a month later.
