I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Thermo Fisher Scientific in Mar 2010
Interview
Little lead time was provided when the interviews were set up. This was done in a hurry; position was to be filled almost immediately after the interviews. Not all positions at this company work this way - most take a great deal of time before an offer is made.
Met with an array of individuals from HR to Product Management to Engineering to Finance. Interviews were 1 : 1, six individual interviews. Interviews were in 1 hour sessions - different personnel came and went every hour. HR questions were typical (you can Google for a list), other personnel asked largely philosophical questions. Not too many egos and the questions were straightforward - you didn't have to worry about guessing what the questioners motivations were - no games.

If you were faced with a decison to lauch a product on time or delay the launch to get the product right, which would you do?
I interviewed at Thermo Fisher Scientific (Hesston, PA)
Interview
Missleading, inaccurate, not realistic. promised everything and delivered nothing. Very sad I was so hopeful and happy to try and have a career there but it was a was of time and so much stress.

Question 1
Honestly dont remember but they were just S.T.A.R questions.
It was a terrible interview process. Made me do several rounds of interviews with a constant rotation of recruiters. Incredibly unprofessional with no updates for months. Only decided to close my application when I followed up. One of the interviewers was also incredibly negative about his experience at Thermofisher Scientific, often commenting, "people here aren't future-forward thinking".
This is bureaucracy at its finest, and I would recommend anyone applying to Thermofisher Scientific to have a 10-foot pole distance from them. They will make you go through a roller coaster for nothing.
Phone screen with the recruiter, then a video call, followed by an on site panel interview. The panel interview had 5 different people in 30 minute blocks, with potential coworkers and HR.
