I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at The Cheesecake Factory (Chandler, AZ) in Apr 2019
Interview
Was eventually greeted by a manager(?) and taken to a more private area. She seemed rushed and inattentive from the beginning. Then I sit down and she only asks me a total of 3 questions, all of them really bland and typical interview questions that don't really let them get to know the client. But to top it off, as I was speaking she was just staring off in another direction looking at something else. Incredibly rude, but of course I have to act like it didn't bother me since I wanted the job. Then she ends it, shakes my hand, and hurries off somewhere else. I'd recommend not having a hiring event and then rushing all your interviewees/not even paying attention to them. Super rude. Glad I didn't get the offer. Don't think she ever even told me her name.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at The Cheesecake Factory (Glendale, WI) in Mar 2026
Interview
You initially interview with an assistant manager or something. It is a rather easy interview but then they say they will get back to you about setting up a second interview and they never do. Felt like the were giving me the run-around. Not professional.

Interview
Very easy interview process. I sat down with one of the shift managers and we went over job duties, my experience and availability. They mostly ask about reliability and availability.

Interview
3 interviews, first 2 pretty much just about availability, last one was more scenario questions such as what you would do if you noticed a guest wasn't having a good experience and how to better it. Also asked about past work history, specifically if you've worked in retail or fast food/a restaurant before
