Very Easy. First round phone screen, second round was in person with 3 people from the team. There were no technical questions, very conversational. All 3 we're prepared but not scripted.

Once I made it to the final round I waited 50+ minutes for each of the interviewers and then had a 5 minute interview. They did not seem too concerned about my time.

The interview process is very extensive. They will have you interview with at least 4 people separately for 30 minutes each. They will ask you a huge range of questions about your experience, why you want to work at Carlyle and what you are like personally.
