I applied online. I interviewed at The Barthwell Group
Interview
The first round was a screening with one of the employees. The second round involved an extensive project (3 days) which concluded with a presentation showcasing findings to the team (including the CEO). The CEO asked a ton of questions during the presentation, feeling welcome to interrupt whenever desired, and was quite upset when random (sometimes irrelevant) questions weren't fully answered on a whim.
The process was an interesting glimpse into the working culture at the Barthwell Group. Generally, it seems like The Barthwell Group follows the same principles that many other smaller firms practice: Utilize students from top-tier schools until they move on to bigger and better things. The students get something to put onto their resumes and The Barthwell Group gets to utilize under or unpaid labor until the next internship cycle begins.
