In person with multiple people being interviewed at the same time as you, usually starts with the manager and if they like you, they would introduce you and the owner of the restaurant will interview you and give you the job on the spot.
Application
I applied in-person. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Texas Roadhouse in May 2010
Interview
The interview process was a breeze. I always knew what was going on. When I submitted my application, I had a quick interview with the service manager and then she set up my second interview with the managing partner who would make the final decision. Both interviewers were very friendly and put me at ease immediately.

There weren't any questions that were meant to be difficult or surprising. Mostly they were just looking for your overall attitude and how you would handle specific customer service related problems or questions.
Easy and straightforward. Talk about your experience and why you want to work there. Hired me on spot and organized my orientation days. Worked with my schedule and accept seasonal work.
