First interview was with a higher up over the phone seemed really nice and very personable. It went well and got to the next step which was in person with him and going over situational questions and getting to know myself and the company more. And the last interview was with 2 other senior level employees.
I got to know what they do and they got to know me and my background. I had everything they were looking for except having a background in construction. A week later they said they wanted to make me an offer. And this is where it gets nerve wrecking. A few days later I followed up via email asking for the next steps, no response. Another few days went by and still not responding. I though maybe they didn’t get it so I sent another follow up to all the employees who interviewed me. 3-4 days went by and I started to get worried so I called there office numbers and still no response after I left a voicemail. Now I’ve been ghosted and left on read. Very unprofessional for a company who’s been in business for over 25 years. The least you could have said was thank you for your time and considering our company but we have decided to move forward with another candidate or because of COVID we don’t have the funds. Literally could’ve made something up, pathetic!
