      Buyer Interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Technicolor (London, England) in Nov 2020

      Interview

I was first contacted by RH to ask for further details about my application. An interview with the Manager and an additional person of the team was set. They were both friendly, however, it made me a bit uncomfortable and anxious afterwards as the job manager didn't even have my CV in hand. The company itself sounds very interesting to work with, with rooms for learning and improvement. In the interview they made me a significant amount of questions, some interesting ones about driving savings and systems but also very specific ones, such as how many POs I dealt with in a day, how many people there was in my previous department, how many people there were in my previous company. I had the feeling that they were looking for a person with a very specific knowledge, instead of looking for sets of skills developed in my previous positions that could be used and improved, such as software learning, for example, that can be taught, specially if you've dealt with other e-procurement systems, or developed on-the-job. But that was my perspective. It would've been appreciated receiving a proper feedback instead of a general e-mail, specially having interviewed with the team/vacancy manager.

      Question 1

How many PO's did you use to deal with on a daily basis?
