I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Teach for America in Oct 2009
Interview
I had to read two online articles on achievement gaps and had to talk about it. The interview was basically to screen whether or not I am in tandum with the organization's core values. I suggest you study their site on what they look for in their corp members. I have yet to attend the final interview, but I hear it is quite intense. A full day interview with a lesson plan, discussion of articles, problem solving and a personal interview too.
