To the Hiring Team,
I would like to share some feedback respectfully.I attended the walk-in interview on 28/11/2025 and I am highly disappointed with the level of unprofessionalism shown. Many of us arrived with hope and spent long hours waiting without proper communication about the process. The questions asked during the interview were not aligned with the job role, and no information was provided about the responsibilities or expectations. Additionally, candidates were asked to wait a long time for feedback, which later was not provided clearly.Candidates were called at 10 AM for screening but interviews started around 1:30 PM ( mine started at 3:00pm) with zero communication. That itself shows no respect for our time.
During the interview, irrelevant and insensitive questions were asked — even mocking the late founder of the company. A person who claims to be working for 20 years in the same organization doesn’t even know or respect the company’s own founder — that was shocking and insulting to witness. He asked who is the founder I answered and he asked where is he now, ( unfortunately the founder passed away last year) so I said he is in a better place right now, but the interviewer casually asked me ARE YOU SURE ? I mean what kind of question is that to be asked in an interview?
After the interview, I was asked to wait for a “2-minutes"( We were informed that feedback would be provided in a couple of minutes) feedback which turned into 30 minutes with no proper update, while the staff sat in front of us having snacks instead of communicating clearly. Only 8 vacancies were available, but there were more than 70 people for only 8 vacancies resulting in unnecessary waiting and confusion for many people who attended with hope— what exactly was the logic behind wasting everyone’s efforts, patience, and travel expenses?
We expect professionalism at the least. If a company cannot treat candidates with basic respect during hiring, how can anyone expect a healthy work environment afterward?
We understand interview days can be busy, but a little clarity and respect towards candidates’ time would truly make a difference. All of us travelled, prepared, and waited with genuine interest in the opportunity.
I am sharing this feedback so that future candidates can have a more organized and respectful experience.
The way they behaved reflects on them — not me.
What I faced shows:
Poor time management (waiting 3+ hours without updates)
Unprofessional interview questions (irrelevant, insensitive about the founder)
No explanation of job role or expectations
Disrespectful attitude (eating snacks in front of candidates who are waiting)
Calling too many people despite only 8 openings (wasting others' time and effort)
Interviews should be respectful — candidates deserve clarity, dignity, and professionalism.
